Pneumatic hammer principle
In a state where the pneumatic hammer is not supplied with compressed air (3 Kg/cm or more), the magnetic piston is fixed to the substrate by a strong magnetic force. When the three-way solenoid valve is energized, the compressed air flows into the pneumatic hammer body, and the pressure in the body is increased. When the magnetic force is greater than the magnetic force, the magnetic piston is separated from the substrate at a high speed, and a strong counter force is generated due to the reaction force of the strong magnetic force. The high-speed falling magnetic piston hits the substrate, and its impact force is transmitted to the silo, and the attached dust is shot down with a strong impact force. When the three-way solenoid valve stops energizing, the compressed air in the body of the pneumatic hammer is discharged through the three-way solenoid valve, so that the magnetic piston is slowly raised by the return spring and then close to the substrate, and is returned to the initial state by magnetic adhesion on the substrate.
There is a strong magnetic magnet inside the hammer head. Before the action, the magnetic hammer head is tightly attached to the magnetic substrate. When the three-way solenoid valve is energized and the intake pressure is greater than the bonding magnetic force, the magnetic hammer head is separated from the substrate at a high speed and impacts to the bottom. After the impact, the three-way solenoid valve is de-energized, the gas in the product is removed, and the hammer is reset. The impact of the air hammer is transmitted to the pipe or the silo wall to allow the material to flow smoothly.
Advantages of pneumatic hammer
The advantage of the pneumatic hammer (2nd generation) is that the tapping force is adjusted by adjusting the air supply pressure. If the tapping force is too small, the air pressure can be increased, and if the tapping force is too large, the pressure is reduced. If the customer has an error such as excessive or insufficient impact due to improper selection of the model, the pressure of the hammer can also be solved by adjusting the air pressure. This impact-changeable structure ensures the convenience of air hammer selection. If it is connected through the relay port, several impact pneumatic hammers can be operated in series and hit at the same time. It is an ideal cleaning device for cleaning, pollution-free and low energy consumption.
The disadvantages of traditional pneumatic hammers
The pneumatic hammer of the prior art adopts a hammer head equipped with a magnet to suck the substrate, and forcibly pushes the hammer head by a fixed pressure gas source, so that the hammer head hits out, and then the gas is broken by the three-way electromagnetic valve. Then, the spring mounted under the hammer head is used to reset the hammer to complete an impact.
1. Due to the repeated impact of the hammer, the magnet on the hammer is easily broken, resulting in weakening of the suction strength.
2. Because the magnet on the hammerhead is attracted to the substrate, it is necessary to push the hammer head with a fixed pressure source to make the impact force single and unadjustable, which will cause great damage to the hitting bin. When installing and using, the channel steel should be welded on the silo, and installing the air hammer above the channel can eliminate the hidden danger of the silo being destroyed.
3. The pneumatic hammer of this structure is made of steel casting material with a heavy weight, which is easy to cause fatigue or even breakage of the spring installed under the hammer. It is difficult to reset.
4. The noise is too loud and there is no dust protection.
Pneumatic hammer installation precautions
After the pneumatic hammer is installed, be sure to install the anti-drop cable on the body, otherwise it may fall due to the impact of the impact.
1. When installing the pneumatic hammer, wear a safety helmet, safety shoes, safety belt, and carry it under safe equipment.
2. When the plate of the mounting part is thin, please weld the reinforcing plate, otherwise the installation may be damaged due to the impact.
3. If welding the reinforcing plate, please make sure there is no gap between the reinforcing plate and the hopper, and reserve about 10mm of the exhaust port to facilitate the air discharge, so that the impact force can be fully transmitted. To avoid damage to the hopper, be sure to weld several layers.
4. To prevent falling off, use the cable to hoist and fix the main body. Otherwise, the bolt may loosen and fall off due to impact.
5. When bolting the body to the flange, install a spring washer on the top and bottom, and tighten it tightly according to the tightening torque and check it regularly.
6. Please equip the air filter before piping. If it is mixed with garbage or dust, it may cause poor operation.
7. Do not exceed the required impact force during use, otherwise it may cause damage to the silo or the installation site.
8. When cycling continuously, keep the time setting for more than 1 second. If it is less than 1 second, it may cause malfunction.
9. Make sure that the face of the mounting flange must be a solid plane. If necessary, weld the reinforcement.
10. The installation of the pneumatic hammer in the proper position can achieve its maximum performance.
